Description: - The ultimate structural foundation of the Yamaha FZ V1 engine is the Crankcase assembly. This heavy duty housing holds the crankshaft plus the transmission shafts in perfect alignment under extreme pressures. The two halves of the case are held together by high strength Bolt Flange hardware and accurately positioned using the Pin Dowel set. Inside this metal fortress the Nozzle 3 plays a vital role by spraying a continuous stream of oil onto the moving parts for lubrication plus cooling. This assembly is designed to handle the thermal expansion of the engine while maintaining a leak proof seal for the oil galleries. Authentic crankcase components are essential for the longevity of the engine because they provide the rigid support needed for all internal rotating parts. Every machined surface is built to factory tolerances to ensure that your motorcycle runs smoothly for years. This is the skeleton of the powerplant.
