Description: - The explosive energy of combustion is converted into mechanical motion by the Crankshaft Piston assembly of the Yamaha FZ V1. The precision machined Piston (0.50mm o-s) travels up plus down the cylinder held by the high strength Pin Piston. To ensure a perfect seal the Piston Ring Set (std) prevents any pressure loss while managing the oil film on the cylinder wall. At the bottom of this stroke the Crankshaft Assy translates this linear motion into rotation to drive the motorcycle. To keep the ride smooth the Gear Balance Weight is integrated to cancel out engine vibrations. Every Bearing plus Key Woodruff ensures that these heavy rotating parts move with minimal friction for maximum power output. Authentic crankshaft parts are the most highly stressed components in the engine and are built to survive millions of cycles. This assembly is the literal heart of your motorcycle providing torque plus acceleration.
