The Shift Cam Assy features machined grooves that dictate the movement of the Fork Shift 1 plus other forks for each gear ratio. These forks slide along the Bar Shift Fork Guide 1 to ensure that every gear engagement is smooth plus perfectly timed. A Spring Compression is used to provide the necessary tension for positive locking of the gears. This internal hardware is built from high strength steel to withstand the constant friction plus heat of a high revving engine. Authentic shift components are essential for preventing missed shifts or gear popping which can damage the transmission.
