This mechanical linkage is the bridge between the left foot of the rider plus the internal transmission of the engine. The Shift Shaft Assy transfers the movement of the Shift Pedal Assy into the gearbox to select the next gear ratio. To ensure that every shift feels crisp the Stopper Lever Assy provides a positive indexing for each gear position. Protection for the engine lubricant is provided by a high quality Oil Seal which prevents any leaks around the rotating shaft. Every Pin Dowel plus Washer Plate ensures that the components remain perfectly aligned for a lifetime of service. The Shift Pedal is covered by a durable rubber sleeve to provide a comfortable plus non slip surface for the boot. Maintaining this assembly is vital for those who enjoy spirited gear changes.
